We currently are experiencing housing insecurity in Hawaii and are looking for a long-term rental for a single woman and her cat. Like so many other working-class residents, if I am unable to find affordable longterm housing, I will have to leave Big Island. Our Name

'Okina Jewelry gets its name from the phonemic notation that signifies a glottal stop in the Hawaiian language (seen at the beginning of the word 'okina).  We believe that the beauty in life is tucked into its tiny pauses. Learn more about the name in our video.
