Hawaiian Constellation Pendants
The stars have always played a key role in Hawaiian culture. From wayfinding to mythology, each constellation that graces the Hawaiian sky has its own significance and lore.
We have captured the prominent Hawaiian constellations in these hand-forged, adze-shaped recycled Sterling silver pendants. Each star of the formations is rendered in a flush-set brilliant cut diamond, ruby or sapphire, in sizes ranging from one to five points. The pendant's surface is given a burnished, oxidized finish to set off the gemstones like the stars in the night sky.
Each pendant is lashed to hand-plaited, 8-strand Hawaiian cordage made of durable waxed nylon. Lengths range from 15-24 inches, with your choice of clasp (hand-forged hook and eye, lobster clasp or adjustable sister knots).
